Dunphy multi fuel burners are great for combining up to four fuels. They can be burnt individually or simultaneously, with the ability to change from one fuel to another when configured automatically.
Dunphy industrial multi fuel burners can be used with almost any combination of fuel types:
OIL | A Dunphy burner can accommodate any combination of the fuels listed, up to a maximum of 4 fuels | GAS |
---|---|---|
Biofuels / Biooils | Natural gas | |
B5 to B100 | LPG | |
Kerosene | Hydrogen | |
Methanol / Ethanol | Biogas | |
Gas oil / diesel | Coke Oven gas | |
Medium fuel oil | Towns Gas | |
Heavy fuel oil | Syngas | |
Synthetic fuels |
The fuels can be burnt be burnt individually or simultaneously. They can be configured such that they will automatically change from one fuel to another in the event of a fuel loss or disruption. Triple fuel burning is also available enabling a waste fuel to be burnt alongside a standard fuel with the option of a third fuel as a backup. The range is suitable for use on all makes and types of hot water, steam and incineration boilers, furnaces and for many process applications.
Multi fuel burner variants are available in the range of 100kW to 80MW.
NOx levels are dependent on the fuel type and application, please refer to individual fuel type burner for additional information.
Steam and air atomisation options are available for increased turndowns.
The operation of the oil burners can be made even more efficient by fitting a digital combustion fuel/air ratio control system.
The standard axial airflow burner, on designs up to 13MW, comprises a robust, cast aluminium housing. The motor is located within the airflow, offering 100% heat recovery from the motor and excellent acoustic attenuation.
A Duobloc burner comprises a separate fan and motor and is standard on burners above 13MW or bespoke applications above 100kW ranging all the way up to 80MW. The Duobloc burner is used for preheated air, incineration, ducted air, foul air, and sluice gate utility burners.
