A position has arisen for a sales estimator based in the head office in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a niche market for a world class company.
In this role you will play an integral part in the company's sales team, taking responsibility for quoting customers, translating quotations into sales orders, dealing with queries regarding orders and deliveries and liaising with customers throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities will include:
• Quoting of new products to customers
• Liasing with suppliers to acquire quotations
• Communicating with customers throughout the full sales lifecycle
• Processing sales orders from quotations
• Checking data accuracy in orders
• Contacting clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
• Liaising with the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
• Communicating important feedback from customers internally
• Staying up to date with new products and features
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a sales estimator or similar
• Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• A team player with a high level of dedication
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• An engineering background would be beneficial but not essential
